How do I plan my journey to the Hotel Ritzenhof?

Travel by car

Saalfelden is easily accessible by car from all directions – click here for route planning.
Note: In Austria, a vignette is required on all highways. However, the route via the 'Kleine Deutsche Eck' is toll-free.

Travel by train

Saalfelden is directly accessible by train, with IC and EC trains stopping here. From the station, it's just a few minutes to Ritzenhof with the free hotel shuttle.

Airports nearby

The nearest airports for your journey are Salzburg (approx. 1 hour's drive) and Munich (approx. 2 hours' drive). There are train connections from both airports to Saalfelden train station.

Check-In

Your room will be ready for check-in from 03:00 PM on the day of arrival.

Check-Out

On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 AM.

Late Check-Out

If available, we are also happy to offer our guests a late check-out for € 70 per room.
The room is then available until 05:00 PM.

Unfortunately, we do not have charging facilities on the hotel grounds. However, an e-charging station for electric cars is located nearby, in front of Congress Saalfelden – just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

The gourmet half board at Ritzenhof offers you a delightful all-round experience:

  • Afternoon snack: Soups, salads, and cakes

The indoor pool is open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Family Sauna
The family sauna is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Sauna Area
The sauna area is open daily from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM (earlier depending on the weather).

Spa Reception
The spa reception is open daily from 10:00 AM.

Dogs
Are dogs allowed in the hotel?

Dogs are warmly welcome in the room categories Klassik, Schlossblick, Dorfblick, Family Room Klassik, and Family Panoramasuite, as well as in three ground-floor rooms of the Seeblick category. The price is € 25 per day.

We kindly ask for your understanding that, out of consideration for other hotel guests, dogs are not permitted in the hotel restaurant or the wellness and spa areas.

Cancellation conditions
How long can the booking be canceled free of charge?

Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 30 days before arrival.
If canceled later, 70% of the total price will be charged up to 7 days before arrival and 90% in the last week.
